Murunga Jacob M’maitsi

Jacob is a university graduate from the Mirror of Hope. Jacob joined Mirror of Hope in 2014 to volunteer
after his high school. During his time as a volunteer, he worked with vulnerable children and women
from Kibera, often helping in the sponsorship department, women empowerment and helping as our
social media personnel. He went on to pursue

a bachelor degree in Economics and in 2019 he graduated
university. Upon graduation Jacob found a job at The Mirror of Hope where he currently holds the
position of Community Engagement Officer. Jacob is responsible for attracting, building and maintaining
positive and lasting relationships with The Mirror of Hope community in the forms of sponsor-student
engagement, digital community engagement and community outreach.
