Jacob Okoth Odhiambo

Jacob Okoth Odhiambo is an ambitious young man who believes in doing what is right and
reaching for his and organisational goals no matter the circumstances. He is by nature a comedian and he loves singing
and playing instruments like drums and recently started playing harmonica. He has lived in the Kibera
slum for 9 years and he believes that the slum has taught him a lot about life and how to look at life
generally.
He is also passionate about film making which he later pursued a diploma in Film and Theater arts at
Kenyatta University. What motivates him is the fact that he believes in making a change in the
community through videos of inspiring stories.
He is currently the video editor, photographer and cinematographer at the Mirror of Hope C.B.O where
he has been able to build up his skills and engaging students in the field of videography and sharing the
skills that he has with the young people.
He believes working at Mirror of Hope has open him up to many opportunities and He would love to
continue exploring on more opportunities in the future.
