Emily is a dynamic and highly motivated community development practitioner with good mobilizing
skills experienced in the field of Community Development
Am passionate about life, and not just life but fullness of life, an enemy of anything that hinders the
enjoyment of this fullness of life. This is why I advocate and stand firm with holistic approach to
empowerment
I have worked in areas related to community development with a focus on women economic
empowerment for more than ten years. Am proud of my achievements for I have a motto of leaving a
place a little better than I found it, this motivates and fulfills me
I graduated with BA Degree in Sustainable Human Development at Catholic University of Eastern Africa
(CUEA), Diploma in Sciences of Human Development at Tangaza University College and Certificate in
Apiculture/ Beekeeping at Lenana National Beekeeping Station. All these professions have contributed
to my personal growth
Working at Mirror of Hope has positively impacted my life for I have met people of different walks of
life, I have learnt to embrace different socio-cultural and spiritual aspects of life and more so, I have
learnt that in life, respecting a client is key to success. I cherish and respect all my clients and all of them
are in my heart
